Alterations to the book Get It Girl Guide: Online Dating & Sextiquette by Eve Mayer
This book was radically annoying to put it plainly. The "guide", and I use that term loosely as that infers that the book holds any sort of wisdom worth following, is packed with blatant sexism and bigotry. All I gained from it was a visual of the fake dichotomy between men and women created to sell gendered merchandise like this book. I chose to care a simplified vaginal shape and phallic shape into the book to present this dichotomy. The two symbols, hollow, meet in the middle not by what makes them up but by the space around them that shapes them.
