CO(ck)XSWAINS , in various forms, has been featured in festivals and shows such as: Lift-Off First-Time Filmmaker Showcase, That One Film Festival, and The 500X College Expo.
An experimental short film series, CO(ck)XSWAINS features conversations amongst female NCAA Division I athletes about sex, romance, and confusion. The films explore the female athlete as an apex for all things gender, sexuality, and sex and the female college athlete as having a unique social sexual experience which raises questions of personal identity, sisterhood, consent, and attraction.
The result of this exploration is a compilation of heartfelt, funny, desperate, and familiar moments between young women that speak to a greater truth in a contemporary social-sexual landscape defined by trauma, hilarity, confusion, and connection.
