a video work inspired by American Reflexxx (2013), an experimental short by Signe Pierce and Alli Coates documenting Pierce's performance as 'the cyborg', a reflective, femme entity that was greeted with both cheers and violence as Pierce slinked and stomped down Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.

In 'cyborg stays home' I imagine the cyborg's diary as inscrutable, funny, desperate, and threatening as it plays dress up and contemplates the meaning of its lonely routine.
